Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 17 September 2026

1. Introduction and Acceptance

These Terms & Conditions govern access to the SettleMyDue website, enquiry forms, client portal, consultations, payment facilities and borrower-assistance services. By submitting an enquiry, using the portal, making a payment or accepting a service agreement, you agree to the terms applicable to that interaction. A separately signed or accepted service agreement may contain additional case-specific commercial and service terms; where applicable, those terms should be read together with these Terms.

2. About SettleMyDue

SettleMyDue provides borrower-assistance and debt-resolution support. Our principal place of business is Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh. GSTIN: 09JOWPS7458H1ZL. Contact: admin@settlemydue.com.

3. Nature and Scope of Services

Depending on the agreed scope, services may include initial case assessment, organisation of lender-wise information, document collection/review, account and notice review, communication support, settlement or restructuring assistance, recovery-conduct support, case tracking, payment tracking and coordination of relevant professional work.

SettleMyDue is not a bank, NBFC, lender, credit bureau or government authority. We do not have authority to bind a lender or compel a lender to accept any proposal.

4. No Guaranteed Outcome

Settlement, restructuring, waiver, interest reduction, reduced repayment, revised tenure or any other relief is subject to the customer's circumstances, lender policy, applicable law and the lender's final decision. SettleMyDue does not guarantee a particular settlement amount or percentage, cessation of lawful recovery, credit-score improvement, deletion of legitimate credit history or completion within a particular timeframe.

5. Customer Responsibilities

You must provide complete, accurate and current information and genuine documents; promptly share material lender communications; review important notices and offers; keep portal/login credentials secure; and not provide false, altered, misleading or unlawfully obtained information. You remain responsible for your loan obligations and for deciding whether to accept any lender proposal.

6. Lender Communications and Offers

Any lender communication, offer or settlement proposal remains subject to the lender's written terms, conditions, validity period and verification. Customers should verify formal lender documentation and payment instructions before acting. SettleMyDue is not responsible for a lender changing or withdrawing an offer in accordance with its own terms or policies.

7. Recovery-Conduct Support

Customers may provide relevant calls, messages, notices or correspondence for review. Where appropriate, matters may be escalated or referred for professional assistance. This service does not automatically stop lawful recovery activity, court/tribunal proceedings, contractual consequences or the underlying debt obligation.

8. Fees, Taxes and Payments

SettleMyDue services are chargeable unless expressly stated otherwise. Applicable fees, taxes, payment schedule and service scope will be communicated through the service agreement, invoice and/or official payment request. Customers should pay only through payment methods or links issued through official SettleMyDue channels. Payment of SettleMyDue's service fee does not guarantee any lender outcome.

Online payments may be processed through third-party payment providers. Customers must never share card PINs, UPI PINs, OTPs or banking passwords with SettleMyDue personnel.

9. Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation and refund requests are governed by the published Refund & Cancellation Policy and any applicable service agreement. Eligibility may depend on the stage of engagement and work already performed. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

10. Client Portal and Records

The client portal may display case references, lender-wise progress, documents, payments, communications, offers and operational updates. Portal information is maintained for case-management purposes and may not represent a lender's real-time internal system. Customers should rely on formal lender documentation for lender-approved terms.

11. Credit Information

Delinquency, missed payments, restructuring, settlement and related events may affect credit reports or scores. SettleMyDue does not control credit bureaus and does not guarantee any credit-score change or removal of accurate information.

12. Professional and Legal Assistance

Where a matter requires legal or another regulated professional service, it may be handled or reviewed under an appropriate professional engagement. General borrower-assistance services by themselves do not create an advocate-client, chartered-accountant-client or other regulated professional relationship.

13. Privacy

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable requirements. Information may be processed by authorised service providers used for hosting, communications, payments and other operations, and may be shared where authorised or necessary for the agreed case service.

14. Acceptable Use

You must not misuse the website or portal, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with security, impersonate another person, upload malicious content, scrape protected areas, use another customer's case information or use SettleMyDue services for unlawful purposes.

15. Intellectual Property

SettleMyDue branding, website design, software, original text, graphics and proprietary materials may not be copied, reproduced, resold or commercially exploited without permission, except where permitted by applicable law.

16. Third-Party Services

We may use third-party hosting, payment, communication or other technology services. Independent third parties operate under their own terms and policies. SettleMyDue is not responsible for an independent third party's acts or omissions except to the extent responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.

17. Service Availability and External Decisions

We aim to provide agreed services with reasonable care, but website availability, lender processing times, lender decisions, credit-bureau reporting, banking/payment-network processing and independent third-party actions may be outside our direct control. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

18. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms when our services, technology, providers or applicable requirements change. The current version and update date will be published on this page. Material case-specific obligations already agreed may also be governed by the applicable service agreement.

19. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by applicable laws of India. Any dispute should first be raised with SettleMyDue at admin@settlemydue.com so the parties can attempt resolution. Any jurisdiction provision contained in an applicable signed service agreement will apply to the extent permitted by law.
